NHL 22 Early Access Available
The Early Access for the upcoming game is now available for EA Play and Xbox Ultimate Game Pass Subscribers. Fans of the series who want to test out the game can do so now, the early access is a trial available for 10 hours.

- New World of Chel Social Widget in NHL 22: The new features of World of Chel mode in the new game have enhancements for players to enjoy with friends. Likewise, players can now be more social and also invite friends, hang out, and enjoy ice hockey together. Players can now customize their experience in their own way in the new World of Chel Social Widget. Likewise, players can now invite their friends to their own home group in the Chel Social Widget. The upcoming NHL 22 seamlessly implements and brings a player’s Social Widget home group to many of the different game modes. Therefore, players are able to play co-op and multiplayer game modes together with friends seamlessly.
- Multiplayer Modes With Friends: The upcoming game features different multiplayer modes, including 2-4 player local co-op, 2-4 player local multiplayer, 2-6 player online co-op, and also 2-12 player online multiplayer modes.
How To Play Against Friends in NHL 22
- In the game’s main menu, you can see options for Online, Offline, and more. Select Online.
- Next up, go to Online Versus.
- Then, you can go into Play Online Versus.
- Once you get into the team selection then, you can invite your friends.
- Your team is on the right-hand side and now, you can click the left bumper on Xbox or L1 on PlayStation.
- This brings up the Add Friends menu.
- In the Add Friends menu, you can select Invite Friends for online play and Add Controllers for couch play.
- Now, Select Invite Friends and this brings up your friends list. Thus, you can invite your friends from there.
