Amazon Studios Orange County has announced a multiplayer we have been waiting for. The game, titled New World, was originally said to come out around May, but the pandemic had other plans. Henceforth, the PC exclusive game is claimed to come out on the 31st of August, 2021. Dominated by World of Warcraft, New World will come under the umbrella of the MMO gaming genre. But what is the game about?
New World
The multiplayer game battle would take place on Aeternum Island, a fictitious island in the Atlantic Ocean.
Therefore, we can join one of three factions, namely: Marauders, Syndicate, or Covenant. In the game, players produce items, take control of cities, quest, explore the environment, or fight other players or animals. The main source of the economy is gold coins. With the help of a trader, you can throw out unwanted items, utilising gold coins for exchange. The unwanted item given by you can either be recycled for resources. This game can be played amongst a group of five members at max, where they fight against other players or monsters.
Voice Chat
In a multiplayer game, the Voice Chat plays a crucial role. This is because, in battle games, one often needs cooperation. Along with this, voice chat helps in bringing teammates closer for strategy building. Looking at the increasing hype of the game, many fans asked the developers about the presence of in-game voice chat. Answering the question, the devs replied:
