Yeah, New World is indeed the best game Amazon Studios has produced and developed to date. The game has everything to keep you STUCK (remember this word!) to your screen for, long hours. You can take the compete feel of the MMORPG elements in the game.
But the point is that the game has some really bizarre bugs which irritate quite a lot. We had discussed earlier about the server issue, the ban issue, latency issues and much more. And now there is a new one. It is the unresponsive issue. Whenever this happens, players can’t attack or even click. In simple words, the whole game becomes unresponsive.
But Digi Statement has come up with some unusual solutions for you if you are facing an unresponsive bug in the game.
WHAT IS THE UNRESPONSIVE ISSUE?
You have heard about the disappearing UI bug, right? The unresponsive bug is somewhat caused because of the same reason – extended periods of gameplay. When you enter the New World game, you are greeted with long queues on the server. And if you enter a game and end up liking it, you will surely go on for a long time. This is when the game becomes unresponsive and the cursors do not function.
HOW TO FIX THE BUG?
There are three (unusual) ways to fix the game becoming an unresponsive issue. The basic thing you can do is restart the game. Restarting the game has reportedly solved this problem for many. But you will again have to wait for a long time to enter a server and a game. So think before you take this step!
It is still not clear why this unresponsive issue is happening. According to some players, this may be due to the cursor being misplaced for some reason. This means that the cursor, for some reason, gets stuck on the menu or something like that.
Coming back to the topic, there is another way to fix this bug in the New World game. This might seem a bit funny, but it is what it is. You can try finding an enemy somewhere, and since you can’t attack, you just need to die. Yep, you need to die and respawn. By the looks of it, dying in the game somewhat resets the cursor or the game. And most of the players have found this to be the most efficient option to fix the unresponsive bug.
Oh, wait. There is another, last option if you do not want to apply any of the above two methods. If you do not want to restart your game or add another point to your death list, you can go in for the “Unstuck” feature of the game. Yep, the game has one such feature. All you need to do is to hit the Escape key, go to the Game menu and click on the “Unstuck” button. This will relocate your character to some other nearby location and free you from the “STUCK” situation.
Here is the fact. The Unstuck button does not necessarily fix the unresponsive issue every time. Nope. Yeah, it does sometimes, or maybe most of the time, but not always.
But the “die to respawn” thing does the fixing work every time. EVERY FREAKING TIME. So you can try the Unstuck button, and if does not work, just die and respawn.
