Skyblock is one of the newest games on the Hypixel network. One of the main reasons why Hypixel Skylock is more popular than the other mods is that it offers a completely new experience to the users. Recently, Hypixel Skyblock released the 0.11.3 update. This new update features the Master Mode for dungeons, which was highly awaited by fans for a long time. Here is everything you need to know about the Hypixel Skyblock 0.11.3 update.
Hypixel Skyblock 0.11.3 update
Master mode for dungeons
Master Mode continues where it left off on Floor 1, but with a move up in difficulty after Floor 7. After beating Necron and completing Floor 7, the Catacombs’ next challenge is the Master Mode. Master Mode floors 1 to 5 will be available for this update. Since Master mode does not contain any new floors, it will not contain any new items. However, Catacomb Experience and loot drop rate have been greatly improved.
Dungeons Class Balance
Tank class changes:
Absorb has been added as a new passive ability.
Players will now have 80% of the damage they take near a tank diverted to their vehicles. This move greatly improves the tank’s utility, but it allows the tanks to place all of their eggs in a bigger basket.
Furthermore, the seismic wave cooldown time has been reduced from 60 to 15 seconds.
Healer Class changes:
Healers have a new passive ability that allows them to drop power orbs on the floor. There’s a small chance that a special orb will fall to the ground with every enemy the Healers destroy.
There are three types of orbs, each of which can be picked up by any teammate for a fast heal worth 30% of their maximum health and short damage or defense buff.
Healers can now apply a tether to any of their teammates by clicking on them. They will heal their tethered teammate for.5% of their HP every second as long as they stay in range. And every five melee hits on enemy mobs restores them both by 1% of their maximum life.
Berserker Class Changes:
Berserkers’ bloodlust passive now has an additional impact. Berserkers are much better at taking down single target enemies because each strike they land on an opponent makes subsequent hits harder.
Quality of Life changes
All current catacombs floors will now award more catacombs exp depending on how many times you’ve beaten them before, with up to 150 percent extra exp granted on floors 1 to 5, 100 percent extra exp granted on floor 6, and up to 50 percent extra exp granted on floor 7. The total damage bonus for each catacombs level is now shown in the catacombs skill menu. Dungeoneering has been removed from the skill level average. Fishing and Dungeons fairy souls are now visible in the Quest Log.
On death, you will now get 50% of your mana back. Moreover, you can now warp to the Dwarven Mines’ forge area by clicking on the forge notification.
Boss Changes
Most bosses in the game currently have a “damage soft limit,” which means that after X damage, players can only inflict 10% of the remaining damage. Hereby, a couple of changes to the mechanics of few bosses have been made, such as Arachne, The Magma Boss, The Ender Dragons, The Endstone Protector, and The Headless Horseman.
However, it is important to note that the soft cap will be changed to several soft caps on both of these bosses, resulting in a hard damage cap based on their Max Health.
Catacombs Changes
For each of these bosses, the soft cap will be changed to multiple soft caps, resulting in a hard damage cap based on their Max Health. Furthermore, several changes are made to the gear requirements, and, in turn, upgrade costs have been made.
In addition to this, a few general changes and bug fixes have been made to make sure the game stands up and running.
