Windows Settings
- Game Mode: Enable it. To find this setting, type Game Mode in Windows Search Bar > Select it > Enable it
- Xbox Game Bar: Turn it off. You can find this setting just below the game mode.
- Captures: Just below the Xbox Game Bar, you can find Captures. Enabling it can eat a bunch of FPS. Therefore, make sure to disable it.
- Graphics Settings: Enable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in the graphics settings. Simply type Graphics Settings in Windows Search Bar, select it, and enable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.
- Update Graphics Driver to the latest version: It is necessary to update your graphics driver to the latest version to boost overall FPS. Nvidia Graphics Drivers users must visit here, and AMD Graphics Driver users must visit here to update their graphics drivers.
- Make sure to set your Power Option to High-Performance mode– For this, type “Power and Sleep settings” on Windows Search Bar and then select the Advanced Power Options. Find the High-performance mode available in the setting and then select it to maximize your PC’s performance.
