Moto G5s

Motorola was first acquired by Google and shortly after that, Lenovo completely acquired the company. Two years ago, Moto was indeed a hotshot with constant device releases. But the consistency has gone down the line a bit since then. However, Motorola fans still prefer to wait for what the brand is going to come up with.

Moto G5S was released with Android 7.1 OS out-of-the-box. Due to hardware limitations, this device only received one major OS update- to Android 8.1 (Oreo). Moto stopped pushing any software related updates after a while.

But finally, with the help of LineageOS, there’s a mind-blowing piece of news for Moto G5S users. You can now get Android 10 for your Moto G5S device through LineageOS.

Moto G5S was released in the month of August in 2017. This device is available in two variants- 32GB 3GB RAM, 32GB 4GB RAM, and as mentioned already, comes with Android 7.1. The base variants of this device cost 150 EUR currently and are available in Lunar Gray, Fine Gold, Midnight Blue colors. Moto G5S is powered by Snapdragon 420 chipset, which is very outdated now.
