WHAT IS THE USE OF MLB THE SHOW 21 COMPANION APP?
The Show has announced this companion app which will give the fans access to the latest news, The Show shop, the ability to buy and sell cards in the game community marketplace and they can also get an idea about what their friends are opening via notifications. Through the companion app, you can stay connected to the game anywhere and everywhere.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE COMPANION APP?
The MLB The Show 21 companion app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Players can download it from the respective app stores and access it.
HOW TO ACCESS THE COMPANION APP?
Once you download the companion app, you will then be directed to sign in with your PlayStation or Xbox account. Use the information that you would use to log in to your Xbox or PSN account.
HOW TO BUY AND OPEN PACKS?
Buying Packs –
Buying and opening the packs in the companion app is an easy task. To buy the packs, go to the app and select the icon that looks like a purse. This purse icon is set to the right of the home icon, on the far left side of the app. Then scroll down and look at the assortment of the available packs.
Opening the Packs –
To open the packs, you can check the box at the top that states “You have X number of packs to open”. This will be followed by an arrow if you have any packs to be opened. Select the box and you will be directed to the My Packs screen. Select a pack by pressing it, and then hit Open.
If you have several of the same pack, you will have an icon that shows “Open Next (_)”. By selecting this, you will be able to open another pack without having to go back to the My Packs screen.
HOW TO BUY AND SELL PLAYERS IN THE COMPANION APP?
To buy players in the app, select the Community Market icon. This icon is the middle one on the bottom of the screen. From here, you can scroll through the list of players, or enter a name via the Search bar. Next, select a play and then click the red button at the bottom. Here, you can place either a Buy Order or a Sell Order if you want to buy one or sell one.
Alternatively, you can also sell cards by selecting the My Inventory tab. This can be found at the account screen, which can be accessed by selecting the icon to the far right.
IS THE APP AVAILABLE IN REGIONS OTHER THAN NORTH AMERICA?
MLB The Show 21 companion app is available only for users in North America. Talking about the users from other regions, the company has stated that they do not have any plans of releasing the app in other regions as of now. According to them, “They need to go over all the appropriate requirements in other regions”. So whenever they have plans, we will get the official announcement!
