MIUI 12.5 Update to arrive with MI 11, Check new features here

Redmi Note 7 Pro MIUI 12 Stable version rolling out now (Download)

MIUI is Xiaomi’s theme on top of stock android which was first launched in 2010. MIUI 12 is one of the biggest software releases by Xiaomi and brings a cleaner UI, changes to navigation gestures, picture-in-picture mode, in-built sleep tracker and many more.

But now, Xiaomi is developing the MIUI 12.5 which will include major innovations and optimises the performance of the devices, and prepares them for MIUI 13.

MI 11 and MI 11 Pro which are rumoured to be launched before the end of the year will be running MIUI 12.5, MI 11 and 11 Pro are rumoured to come with a quad camera setup, with a 50MP primary camera, 48MP ultrawide, 12MP telphoto lens and the fourth could be a depth sensor. The display of the devices could also have a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120HZ which has started to become a trend nowadays. They are confirmed to the first phones with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 and also the MI 11 and 11 Pro are expected to come with battery capacity of 4780 and 4970 mAh respectively with 55W charging with 0-100% in just 35 minutes. Xiaomi as of yet has not announced the release date of these phones, but we expect an announcement in the coming days as they have already announced that the devices be running Snapdragon’s latest & greatest CPU.

Some features of MIUI 12.5 will be –

New cleaner interface

New power menu and volume controls

New camera settings

Photo to PDF conversion feature

And other features such as new icon styles, QR code interfaces, new fingerprint animations and much more.
