The Minecraft game has been with us for so long and players play it even to this day. Developed by Mojang Studios, the entire idea of the game is just overall amazing. Not only that, but the fact that it offers both single-player and multiplayer modes is also another feature that makes it such a fan favorite. Now, however good the game is, there is no doubt some problems with it. To be more precise, some players have encountered the OpenGL Error code 65543 in Minecraft. What it is and how we can solve this is what we will discuss. Let us dive right in and look at the details.

In terms of what this error is, we will clarify it. Most gamers have mentioned that they receive this error when they launch the game. This error can be caused by outdated graphic drivers. Update your Graphics driver

You can do this by simply heading over to the Windows device manager on your PC. Then expand your Display adapters and you will see either of the two graphic card options- NVIDIA/AMD. Select the one that you use and right-click on it to see the option of Update Driver. Then in the Drivers tab, you can click on download the updated driver option. Do this and launch the game, the error should now go away. You can also update your GPU drivers via your GPU’s native application.

Update your Java version

If the above method does not solve the issue, then make sure to update the Java version of your PC because that may be causing this error. Head over to the link from your preferred browser. Then click on Download and follow the installation process to download this latest Java version on your PC. After this, run the game and it should work just fine.

Update your Windows

There might be a case that your Windows is not up to date and it is causing these errors. To make sure your Windows is updated, head over to the Windows update section of your Windows settings and check for updates. If there is any update pending, then make sure to install it. Then, launch the game to see if that worked for you.

Replace OpenGL file

If all the above methods have failed, then the last resort is to replace the game’s openGL file with the latest one. For this, first, visit here. From here, download the latest OpenGL file and then extract it on your PC by right-clicking on it and selecting “extract all”. After this, head over to your search bar in the taskbar and search %Appdata%. From here, head over to the Minecraft folder and search for OpenGL files in this folder. Many OpenGL files can be found here. So, right-click on any one of them, and select “Open file location”. And at last, you should drag and drop the latest downloaded OpenGL file in this location. Do this and restart your PC to fix the Minecraft error.
