Minecraft: How to find Village

Minecraft needs no introduction as it seems to be one of the default games every gamer has either played or is currently playing. Mojang Studios and Markus ‘Notch’ Persson developed and created the game. Due to the upgrades that frequently spice up the gameplay, there has been no dull moment in the game, since its release back in 2011. In this article, we will be sharing details on how to find Village in Minecraft.

Minecraft: How to find Village

Villages are usually found in biomes which could be desert, snowy, savanna, plains, hills, etc. Finding a village in the game and the player’s actions there can increase or lower the player’s rating. What’s more, villages are filled with endless goodies and perks.

How to find a Village in Minecraft

A Minecraft village is usually a settlement in the overworld with characters known as villagers. Each character or group of characters has a specific occupation or is popular for exhibiting specific traits. Player characters can trade with them, and it is common knowledge that associating with the villagers first before trading can help cheapen things for you. Here are tips on how to find Minecraft villages.

1. The Minecraft Village Finder

This is a third-party app designed for the sole purpose of easily locating villages in Minecraft. You can also use the platform to locate other nearby villages or chart a route to one. Here’s how to use a village finder:

  • Go to the village finder website.
  • Confirm the seed of your world with “/world seed.”
  • Feed the seed into the village finder platform.
  • Chart your way to the villages displayed.

2. Locate Command

This might just be the most popular method, as commands are used throughout the game. To locate a village in Minecraft, all the player needs to do is type “/locate village” and the villages and their biomes will pop up. The player can chart or teleport his/her way down there.

3. By Exploring

This is common too and happens to be the default way of finding a village in Minecraft. As the name suggests, the player roams around the world of Minecraft, exploring the biomes and meeting traders, mobs, and other characters. Villages usually occur naturally, and it won’t be long before one is found.

You can trade with villagers and exchange goods for coins or any equipment you might need. We recommend you stay wary of unemployed villagers and roaming mobs as they will most likely rip you off on trade.
