Lego 2K Drive Split Screen

Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, Lego 2K Drive is the latest addition to the Lego series. Although the game did come up with a few hiccups, especially with the “Unable to write save data” error, the reception was still magnificent. The anticipation around Lego 2K Drive was never-ending, and as soon as the game was launched, the fans came up with a new demand. Not really satisfied with the 2-player split screen mode, fans are now asking the developers for a 4-player split screen mode in Lego 2K Drive. So, what’s the status of this query? Is there a 4-player split-screen mode release date for Lego 2K Drive? Let’s find out.

Lego 2K Drive is an open-world multiplayer racing game that offers players a sandbox experience. On top of this, it also supports local multiplayer mode, but it is limited to two players only. This feature is available on all of the platforms where the game has been released, including the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5, Xbox series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. You can go head-to-head against your friends or family in this game with this robust split-screen option. But that hasn’t been able to cut it among the fans. While some of them are okay with a 2-player split screen mode, demand for a 4-player split screen mode is on the rise.

Lego 2K Drive 4-player Split Screen Mode Release Date: Is It Coming?

Even before the release of Lego 2K Drive, fans were speculating on whether the developers would include a 4-player split-screen mode in the game. The official website of the game made it explicitly clear that it will include a 2-player split screen mode, but there was no update on a split screen mode supporting 4 or more players. The speculations were further wiped away when the game was officially released on May 19. The game did include a 2-player split screen, but that’s about it.

As soon as the game came out, fans were quick to point out that they were not happy with the lack of a 4-player local split-screen multiplayer mode support. While most of the games only offer 2-player split screen modes, it would surely be nice if Visual Concepts and 2K paid more attention to the fans’ demands.

Some fans have even gone on to say that while they are in love with Lego 2K Drive, they are still in a dilemma about whether or not to purchase the game because of the lack of a 4-player split-screen mode. While there has been no official announcement from the developers or the publisher yet, do we think that they will include a 4-player split-screen mode in the game? Well, it is indeed possible. As the fan sentiment regarding this mode grows, the developers might wonder about the possibility of giving the fans what they want. However, this is only speculation, and we do not have anything concrete as of now. Although, while we don’t really have an official release date for a 4-player split screen mode in Lego 2K Drive, we can never say never on anything in the gaming world!
