Kena Bridge of Spirits: How to boost FPS & increase performance on PC

Developed and published by Ember Lab, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an action-adventure video game that got released on 21 August 2021. It got released for three platforms only, which include, PS4, PS5, and Microsoft Windows. This single-player game follows the protagonist, Kena, a young spirit guide with magical abilities. Kena is trying to help deceased people move from the physical to the spirit world. Kena is supposed to attack enemies using her staff (which can be upgraded later) and defend using her pulse ability.

This game is available to play on PC via Epic Games Store. The graphics set by the developers are quite high as they are asking for the following minimum requirements:

• Memory: 12 GB RAM
• Storage: 25 GB

Kena Bridge of Spirits Boost FPS and Increase performance

General PC Settings

1. Turn Game Mode On: Go to the windows search bar and search for “Game Mode”. Open the first thing that comes and enable Game Mode.
2. Disable Xbox Game Bar: Xbox Game Bar must be disabled to improve the Frame Rate. You can find this option at the same place under Game Mode settings.
3. Capture: Turn Background recording off from the Capture section present under Game Mode settings.
4. Graphics Settings [If having NVIDIA Graphics Card]: Search Graphics Settings in Windows Search bar> Open it> Turn Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling On. Restart your computer after applying this setting.
5. Update your Graphics Drivers to the latest version: If you are using an NVIDIA graphics card, head here to install the latest version of Graphics Drivers. On the other hand, head here if you use AMD Graphics Card.
6. Edit Power Plan: Search for this setting in Windows Search Bar> Open it> Power Options> Check Balanced or High-Performance Mode

In-Game Settings

Head to the Graphics Settings in Kena Bridge of Spirits to apply the following settings.

1. Window mode: Fullscreen
2. Resolution: According to your Monitor
3. Graphics API: Direct X11 or (X12 if possible)
4. V-Sync: Off

After applying these settings, head to the Advanced Graphics Settings.

1. Visible Rot: Medium
2. Screen Resolution: 85% to 90%
3. FPS: 60 (for medium-range PCs)
4. Depth of Field: Limited
5. Motion Blur: Off
6. Volumetric Fog: Medium
7. Ambient Occlusion: Medium/ Low
8. Post Processing Quality: Low
9. Textures: According to your PC’s RAM (Medium/ High for 4GB RAM)
10. Foliage: Medium
11. Shadows: Medium
