When it comes to gaming smartphones, Taiwanese OEM Asus brings some of the best ones of them. The ROG series of gaming smartphones are some of the best of their categories in the market. Recently, we also saw that Asus is planning to launch the upcoming ROG Phone III very soon. Users have been going crazy for this upcoming gaming beast. Asus has also been in the talks for some other reasons as well. That is because of the Android 10 updates for the Max Pro M1 and the Max Pro M2.
Asus has been working on delivering updates to its devices. Talking about updates, the ROG Phone II started getting the Android 10 update a few months back in March. ROG Phone II is currently the most powerful gaming smartphone from Asus. The device came back last year around the month of July. Well, it seems Asus is throwing in a treat for the ROG Phone II users now.
ROG Phone II gets June 2020 Update
ROG Phone 2 picked up the Android 10 update a few months back in March. This is the major OS upgrade for the device. It seems like Asus is up with another surprise to its users. Well, there were some issues and bugs with the ROG Phone 2 that came along with the earlier updates. Well, Asus is now fixing all those bugs with a new OTA update. Asus is currently rolling out the June 2020 update for the ROG Phone II globally. The update does bring a lot of bug fixes and changes along with some new features as well.
Well, there are not a lot of features in the update. The features are further specific for each region. While units in Japan are getting a NePlayer APP, units in Sweden and France are getting VoLTE and VoWifi support. The update also fixes a couple of bug-fixes including the video-recording failed issue. Issues with NFC have also been fixed with the update. There are some more changes other than all these. Asus will be launching the ROG Phone 3 very soon in the market. Meanwhile, Asus is also delivering updates to the ROG Phone 2 to ensure optimum performance over time. ROG Phone 2 is still an awesome flagship to date and delivers a powerful performance. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ chipset which is still a powerful processor.
