Huawei Mate 40 series rumored to release on October 22

Huawei Mate 40 series is rumored to release on October 22 this year in China. Earlier, this device was expected to launch on October 15. But, now it is postponed to release a week later.

The Huawei Mate 40 series will have 4 models, namely Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design.

As per the reports coming, the Mate 40 Pro 128GB variant will be priced at 5999 Yuan, whereas the 256GB variant and 512GB variant will be available at 6499 Yuan and 7399 Yuan respectively.

Last month, the Huawei Mate 40 smartphone was also spotted in TENAA listing. It revealed a few of the device specifications. According to the listing, the Mate 40 will launch with a 6.5-inch display and the battery capacity will be 4000 mAh battery. The full list of specifications of the device is given below.

As the release date is approaching, many reports are coming regarding the specifications of this device.

The Huawei’s Mate40 series is expected to come with the Android 10 operating system with EMUI on top which comes with many advanced features.  This handset will launch with the Kirin 9000 5G SoC chip.

As far as the camera is concerned, we may get a dual selfie lens on Mate 40 Pro model which will include a Sony IMX588 camera and a ToF sensor Sony IMX516. It is also claimed that the Huawei Mate 40 series has a Sony IMX700 lens. Sony IMX700 is the 50-megapixel sensor also provided on the Honor 30 Pro+ flagship phone.

In terms of design, Mate 40 may possess a curved-edge display with a dual punch-hole camera in the top left and now you can also get to see the physical volume buttons on the side borders again, this makes it more convenient for users to use the device while the device will continue to provide virtual buttons.
