How to Transmog Gear in Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3 often forces players into serious ink battles against each other and every confrontation is memorable. As a multiplayer game, you’d definitely want to stand out from the rest and appearances play an important role in it. Every player has a preferred gear and weapon loadout that they prefer, however making them aesthetically pleasing is what every one of us yearns for. But that raises the question- Does the game feature Transmog and if so how can one use it in the game? In this article, we’ll be talking about Splatoon 3 and if you can Transmog your gear. Continue reading the article to know more.

How to Transmog Gear in Splatoon 3

Having a great piece of gear can greatly improve your playstyle and let you ink enemies efficiently. Every gear comes with unique perks that can influence the gameplay a lot. Choosing a gear that suits your appearance is also what makes things much more exciting and gives a feeling of uniqueness. Longtime fans of the series already know to use every possibility to their advantage when it comes to winning matches. But, having your favorite weapon without the perfect perks isn’t quite the ideal situation.

How to transmog gear in Splatoon 3?

Well, there is a special NPC in Splatoon 3 by the name of Murch that players can interact with to get certain perks removed from one gear and transfer them to another. Let’s say a certain gear caught your eye that looks pleasing, but it doesn’t have the perk you prefer like Ink Recovery.

Well, for this you need to talk to Murch after you have reached level 4. He can be found in Splatsville. Now, through the Scrub Slots Option, the process can be started. As alluring as it may sound, it isn’t cheap and will cost you a lot. You need a minimum of 20K coins to get the scrubbing done on an item to get those ability chunks. After getting these, you can then apply them to your preferred gear.

So, play the game more until you gather the money and materials to perform the scrubbing. Experimenting with gear is what Splatoon 3 highly encourages and we urge you to do the same. This concludes the article on how to Transmog gear in Splatoon 3. We hope that you enjoyed reading this article.
