How to join a Friends server in Rust?

If you are looking to play Rust with friends, you may be looking for the steps on how you can play with your friends. Rust is a very popular survival multiplayer game. Likewise, it is a game that essentially pits players within a post-apocalyptic world. The game has become a favorite among fans of multiplayer games as well as survival games. One of the best ways to enjoy Rust multiplayer is to play with friends. However, the game doesn’t give a straightforward way of finding your friends in-game. This article is therefore regarding how to join a Friends server in Rust.Rust

How to join a Friends server in Rust?Rust

  1. Well, there are two ways in which you can play with a friend in Rust. You can either tell them your server ID or get their server ID. Likewise, you can find your server ID by going to the Options menu in-game. It is in the upper left corner of the screen. You can either give this ID to a friend or get theirs from them.
  2. Another way you can also find out your friends’ server is by simply going to their profile. Likewise, you can also do this by going to your favorites and going to their profile.
  3. You can now simply relaunch the game and go to the server selection screen. Here, you have to search for your friends’ server. You can simply do this by clicking the triangle button on your controller. Then, you can press triangle again to enter text in the server search field.
  4. Next up, you have to enter the server ID of your friend and go to their server. After doing so, your friends have to craft a sleeping bag. Then, they have to assign the sleeping bag to you by holding E on the bag, then choosing “Give To A Friend” in the menu and typing in your name.
  5. Finally, you have to choose “Respawn In Sleeping Bag”. This makes you respawn in the sleeping bag that is close to them. Thus, making it very much easier for you as well as your friends to find each other.
