If you have not enabled the Linux Mode on your Chromebook, head to the following path: Settings> Advanced> Developers> Linux Development Environment(Beta)> Turn On. After enabling the Linux Mode, follow these steps.
- As we all know that Garry’s Mod is a paid game and also available on steam. So, you have to download the Linux Version of steam on your Chromebook. Head here to download it officially
- Now, right-click on this downloaded file and select “Install with Linux (Beta)”.
- After this step Steam Store will be installed and will be available under Linux Apps folder in your Launcher.
- Open it and search for Garry’s Mod in the search bar after logging/ signing in.
- Purchase the game and download it to play.
By the above-mentioned method, you can play this game anytime. There is another way of playing this game using GeForce Now. You can follow the same procedure that we used for playing Fortnite on Chromebook. All you have to do is replace Fortnite by Garry’s Mod and Epic Games Store by Steam Store.
