- First and foremost, it is important to disable cloud saves in your Steam account. In order to disable the Steam Cloud save option, you have to go to your Steam settings. Then, select the Cloud settings. Under the Cloud Settings, you have to disable the Steam Cloud Sync Option. Steam automatically restores your game saves from the cloud, therefore it is important to disable it.
- Next up, you have to make sure that you exit Steam properly before going to the next step. After exiting the Steam launcher, you have to simply go to Steam’s website on your browser >> Login to your Steam account >> Copy the URL of your profile page.
- Then, you have to go to the Steam DB website and paste your Steam profile’s URL in the text field. You can then hit enter to find your Steam ID. Make sure to remember your Steam ID.
