How to delete FFXV save data on PC?

How to delete FFXV save data on PC –Final-Fantasy-15

  1. First and foremost, it is important to disable cloud saves in your Steam account. In order to disable the Steam Cloud save option, you have to go to your Steam settings. Then, select the Cloud settings. Under the Cloud Settings, you have to disable the Steam Cloud Sync Option. Steam automatically restores your game saves from the cloud, therefore it is important to disable it.
  2. Next up, you have to make sure that you exit Steam properly before going to the next step. After exiting the Steam launcher, you have to simply go to Steam’s website on your browser >> Login to your Steam account >> Copy the URL of your profile page.
  3. Then, you have to go to the Steam DB website and paste your Steam profile’s URL in the text field. You can then hit enter to find your Steam ID. Make sure to remember your Steam ID.
  4. Now, you have to go to your PC’s local drive. Likewise, you have to go to the following folder path – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\*Your Steam ID number*\637650\remote”. You can find all the game’s save files in the remote folder.
  5. In case you want to remove the game’s autosaves, you have to go to “..\remote\gameplay\” and delete Slot 0 as well as Slot 1 folders.
  6. You can also find all the game saves for the main story in the gameplay folder. In case you want to delete any of the DLC game saves, you can find a folder with the name “ep” before the first letter of the character the DLC is about. For example epf = Episode Frieza, epp = Episode Piccolo, etc. Likewise, you can also find the game saves in the “gameplay” folder within these folders.
  7. Finally, you can now delete the save files for Final Fantasy XV properly.
