Farming Simulator 22 Harvest Contracts not completing bug: Is there any fix yet?

Farming Simulator 22 is one of the best simulation games that we have come across, and one of the best parts of the game is the fact that it makes your farming experience pretty life-like and realistic.

This is why we can say that the harvest yield in the game can get affected by rain, right? But how will the crops get affected by rain? Or we should say that in what amount will the crop yield be affected by the rain?

The fact to note is that we did not have the feature of harvesting in the rain in the game Farming Simulator 19, but the recent version does allow us to do so. Here is what you need to know –

Farming Simulator 22 Rain Affecting Yield

HOW DOES RAIN AFFECT YOUR YIELD IN FARMING SIMULATOR 22?

Well, to know how rain would affect the yield in the game Farming Simulator 22, you will have to run the tests on various crops. We did some tests and we have the results. For conducting the tests, you need a harvest field with crops.

It does not matter if the field is fertilized or not. You just need a field with a harvester. The best way to know is to yield the harvest normally during the dry weather and then try to yield during the rain. For the tests, a grain crop like canola and then corn, or should we say sunflower would be pretty good to check out.

WHAT WAS THE IMPACT ON CANOLA?

The first crop was a grain header crop like canola. To be honest, you will lose about 50% of crops if you harvest in the rain. This happened for grain header crops. In simple terms, the amount of yield you would get after harvesting in the rain would be about 50% than what you would get normally during a regular harvest.

Here are the numbers. On a regular day, the harvest yield of the canola field was something about 6000 litres. While on a rainy day, the harvest was reduced to about 3000 litres.

Now that is about 50% in the amount of yield! This is why it is recommended for you not to harvest in the rain! So what are the crops that should not be harvested during the rain?

Farming Simulator 22 Rain Affecting Yield

Well, we can assume that most of the – or maybe all of the – grains or grain header crops like wheat, barley, oat, canola, sorghum, and soybeans should not be harvested in the rain. Why is it so? You might end up losing a significant part of your harvest.

It might be because of the reason that the grain header crops are tied to the header and style of the harvester and not the crops specifically. But we can make these assumptions since these are reasonable.

WHAT WAS THE IMPACT ON CORN AND OTHER CROPS?

We can assume that maybe all of the grain header crops get affected by rain. But what about the other crops available in the game? Farming Simulator 22 has a lot of these crops and three more have been introduced already.

So what will be the impact of rain on their yield? After harvesting the crops like corn, cotton, sugarcane, etc., we can say that all of these get affected by rain. And as the numbers go, you will lose about 50% of the yield in these cases as well. So we can say that be it canola, corn, cotton, or sugarcane, every crop gets affected by rain.

But is this applicable for all the crops? The answer is no. You will have zero loss of yield when it comes to crops like grapes, olives, potatoes, sugar beets, etc. How can we say that?

Here is how you can know this. Choose a day when it is raining and go drive the grape harvester. You will not find any prompt about the yield getting damaged due to rain.

But if you do the same for the crops like sugarcane or cotton, you will get the prompt about the yield getting destroyed. This is how we can conclude that the crops like grapes, olives, etc. may not get affected by rain.
