Hogwarts Legacy: Can you become Evil?

Evil wizards and Dark Arts are an integral part of the HP series. Although Hogwarts Legacy is not directly connected to the Harry Potter series, it still shares the same universe. Naturally, folks are wondering if they can become evil in the game. Various role-playing video games have quests and choices that determine whether your character is a hero or a villain. Both these options are intriguing and lead to different endings. But, will this option be available in Hogwarts Legacy? Well, if you are also looking for this information, then you have come to the right place.

Hogwarts Legacy is a role-playing game where you will be able to experience the wizarding world as a student at the prestigious school of Hogwarts. Players will be free to explore the vast castle and the surrounding areas of Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest. You will also be able to attend classes and learn various magic spells and charms. These will come in handy when you get into combat or wand duels. Hogwarts Legacy also features Unforgivable Curses. This raises a big question about whether the players will get to become evil or not. Well, let us find that out.

Hogwarts Legacy: Can you become Evil?

Yes, it seems like players will be able to become evil wizards in Hogwarts Legacy. The devs have dropped several hints that lead us to believe that players will have a choice to either stay on the path of the good or join the dark side. The State of the Play trailer of the game talks about choices that may lead to a “dark path”. However, there is no morality system in Hogwarts Legacy. This means that your actions will not have any lasting consequences. The story will only progress according to the quests that you choose to complete.

One of the trailers also showcased a quest where the players have the choice to either accept the path of the Dark Arts or refuse. So, you will need to accept and complete these types of quests to become an evil wizard or witch in Hogwarts Legacy. Also, players will be able to use the Unforgivable Curses in the game. Though, it seems like you will not be able to kill your classmates. Well, it will be interesting to see which quests lead to a dark end once the game finally rolls out. This brings us to the end of this article. Stay tuned to Digi Statement for more such gaming guides.
