Halo Infinite: How to check server status when servers are down

Halo Infinite is the newest Halo game after Halo 5 that has been published by Xbox game studios and released only on Microsoft platforms, namely Xbox and Windows. Halo Infinite is the 8th entry into the series and has a free-to-play multiplayer mode while players have to pay to buy the full single-player version of the game. Halo Infinite is a PVP shooter with various weapons and abilities that players can rely on to clinch the win in its popular game modes such as CTF. In this article, we will be taking a look at Halo Infinite: How to check server status when servers are down.

Halo Infinite: How to check server status when servers are down

Halo Infinite having a multiplayer component requires strong servers and good connections between the player and the game as the multiplier mode is a gateway to players purchasing the game and investing more time and money. Since the single-player is paid to play, the multiplayer needs to have good servers to draw players in, especially after the shaky launch of the multiplayer mode which was riddled with server issues. Xbox studios have taken measures to make sure their servers are well maintained and updated. But, even after taking countermeasures so that any server issue does not recur in the future, there are always exceptions and their servers are not infallible.

Halo Infinite: How to check server status when servers are down?

There are 2 options before players when it comes to checking the status of the servers if the player suspects it is down. The first and most reliable option is the official Twitter handle of the game where updates are posted as soon as an issue is noticed. This will take some time however as the tweet needs to be made after the issue is discovered and it is not real-time. Apart from this, it is the most reliable and secure method of receiving information about the server’s status.

The second and less reliable option is the use of 3rd party websites which monitor the status of the server through user reports and they are regularly refreshed to keep up with user reports. If a website has a clear description of traffic, an easy-to-use report button, and frequent refreshes, it is likely that the website is reliable. If these elements are not present, then it is quite likely that the website is not reliable and the results of this website cannot be considered to be accurate.
