If this leak comes out with any credibility then we have a major update on our hands next month. While the ex-developer shared interesting information about GTA 6 with his roommate, the roommate also released further details on another spin-off of the Grand Theft Auto franchise: GTA Online. After his involuntary dismissal, he or she probably broke his collar and perhaps strictly confidential information was spoken about. The leak appeared on Reddit, which is currently drawing a lot of attention. According to the leak, the next update for GTA Online should be released by Rockstar Games in August. The buzz doesn’t end with August though, the biggest update ever could be coming soon too according to the leaker.

Rockstar Games recently announced in the official newsletter that fans can look forward to two updates for this year. This includes the summer update and the “biggest update to date” for GTA Online. And although this information is now known, a leak was released on Reddit a few months ago that “predicted” exactly that. That has now been confirmed by Rockstar Games. Summer update offers a “wide mix of different contents of the numerous activities of the game that you can discover and play“, as you can learn from the newsletter.

The Rockstar Games newsletter also mentions a brand new location in GTA Online. The leak on Reddit directs in a different direction as well. Rockstar Games may be planning to add new locations to both updates this year. But that remains in the dark for now. However, the leak made it known which new location for the summer update should be.
The mile-high building, which was previously only shown as a construction site in GTA Online is considered to be the new location. The updates in August are going to focus on the elite prostitution business, as can be seen from the leak on Reddit. In addition, ten new vehicles appear to come into play, as well as two new weapons: a machine gun. According to Leak, there might be a brand new radio station in GTA Online and the band City Morgue is supposed to hold appearances in the game. The new opponent mode “Cops & Crooks” will also find its way into the game.

The summer update is going to incredibly meagre in comparison to the December update. Rockstar Games is supposed to only unveil the surprise with the “biggest update so far ” later this year. The leak reveals that the big update is planned for December 2020 but does not give an exact date. But this is supposed to be the last update for GTA Online on the PS4 and Xbox One. The next update if they do come will focus on the next-gen consoles releasing later this year.
