Google Messages RCS with end-to-end encryption now available globally

The main reason why almost every Android lover dreams of the perfect Pixel device is because of the stock Android experience. From gradually wanting to get rid of the custom skins and bloat to loving what a clean experience the Google framework provides, all of us are eagerly waiting for more and more of Google apps and upgrades!

Google Messages app is the most advanced level of messaging app and as addressed very accurately by one of the tech geeks, it is the closest any app could get to what Apple’s iMessage provides its users.

A month ago we posted that one of the Xiaomi devices received support for RCS messaging system in India. Well, no need to look for which devices support this feature in which regions anymore, because Rich Communication Services is now out and available globally, with end-to-end encryption.

RCS is the next-gen messaging system from Google. The Service system brings in some of the best and top-notch features like live location sharing, share high-resolution images, send videos and detailed links, and not send files but also folders just using this RCS messaging app of Google. Well, bye-bye to all the third-party texting apps as Google will now bring out the best in the very default app!

On the 19th of November 2020, a new blog was posted on the official Google blog page announcing that the RCS messaging app is now available globally with more privacy and security, as developers introduce end-to-end encryption with the app.

Initially, this app will roll-out for beta testers and then gradually enter batch-wise roll-out for eligible users by next year. Here’s what’s mentioned on the blog-
