Yae Sakura, a popular character from the game Honkai Impact 3rd, has been rumoured to be appearing in Genshin Impact this year with the release of a new region, Inazuma.
Several pieces of information overlap as to the probable appearance of a new playable character in Genshin Impact, Yae Sakura. Popular character of the game Honkai Impact 3rd, it seems that the studio miHoYo wants to decline its universe by characters already created.
Basically, it all starts with the traditional Happy New Year tweet posted by Genshin Impact’s official Twitter account. In it, there is an artwork that looks like two water drops in Yae Sakura, but is mentioned as Guuji Yae.

The first day of the new year is upon us, and Guuji Yae is welcoming her first visitor to the shrine — the lady of the Kamisato house.
It is said that if one piously pays their respects to the gods, they will have good fortune in the coming year.#GenshinImpact pic.twitter.com/cuUijY78hV— Paimon (@GenshinImpact) January 1, 2020
Yae Sakura, a new character in Genshin Impact?
It didn’t take more for data miners to go scrape information. According to them, miHoYo are working on Yae Sakura and Inazuma, one of the seven nations that Teyvat has on the occasion of an update this year. On the English Reddit of Genshin Impact, a data miner says he found dialogue voices from Ayaka (next character announced by miHoYo) mentioning Yae Sakura. The thesis can be confirmed from the fact that both characters come from Inazuma.
Even if this information remains rumours, the Japanese studio miHoYo seems to want to reuse a plethora of characters from their game Honkai Impact 3rd. It is therefore not excluded to see characters such as Tohama, Himeko or Mei arrive. We also brought you v1.4 leaks banners as Genshin Impact has a lot of new things prepared for this year. It will be quite a journey for mihoyo this year. You can check out the new Venti, Rosaria Banners and also the new account security update. It was a feature that was really required from the start.
For now, we sign off but keep an eye out for more Genshin Impact leaks.
