The Chinese phenomenon Genshin Impact is about to receive its first big update on November 11 and with the said patch, we will be entitled to many new features, such as an event giving Fischl or even new characters. playable like Zhong Li or Childe (aka Tartaglia). Of course, the rest of the story in the Liyue region will continue as well.
New details regarding this update were unveiled during a Chinese live this weekend, the summary of which you can find here. This Monday, additional information given during an interview with the Inverse site appeared, and some relate to the PS5 version of the game. So what did we learn from the insightful interview?
The Unreconciled Star Event
In this interview, we learn that the event “The Unreconciled Star” will last two weeks and will be the first big event available in the game. As a reminder, it will be doable in three acts that must be completed. We also learn that the reputation system can be unlocked from AR 25. It is via this system that you can recover wing skins but also compasses.
Details!
We also had confirmation that the world of Teyvat did indeed contain seven cities. We only know of two at the present time! Moreover, it is via this update 1.1 that our protagonist will be able to discover the secret and the story hidden behind Liyue before going to new horizons thereafter with the next big updates.
We also have confirmation on the arrival of the stories linked to the characters of Zhong Li, Diona, Childe and Xinyan which will therefore allow us to experience an adventure with each of these new characters and perhaps learn more about them.
Genshin Impact PS5 version and other consoles
Through this interview, we learn that the game will be playable on PS5 upon the arrival of update 1.1 with better graphics and a faster loading speed than that of the PS4 version. Normal thing given the arrival of an SSD in the new generation console which allows to reduce the loads. There will also be backward compatibility between PS5 and PS4.
As for the Switch version, we will still have to wait because it is under development and no date has yet been revealed. And for those who would like to enjoy the game on Xbox, unfortunately, it seems that at the moment nothing is planned for Microsoft consoles.
