Make sure that your Steam profile is set to Public –

Launch your Steam desktop app and go to your Steam Profile. Then, you can click on the Edit Profile option on your Steam profile page. Likewise, you can find the Edit Profile option under your display badge. After clicking the Edit Profile option, you can go to the My Privacy Settings tab. Finally, you can select your privacy state as well as set it as Public. Setting your Steam profile to public and the Game details subcategory to Public allows your Steam library games to sync with GeForce Now. Otherwise, not setting your profile to the Public privacy option does not sync your GeForce Now to Steam.

Launch the Steam app from GeForce Now

Launching your games directly from your library can sometimes be the reason for the sync issues. Therefore, you can instead open the Steam app in GeForce Now. Then, you can go to your library and select the game that you want to play. Likewise, you can simply exit the game manually after playing the game. After the game closes completely and the Steam Cloud Sync finishes, you can close the Steam App as well as the GeForce Now.

Open your game from GeForce Now Library –

You can also launch your games through the GeForce Now library. Likewise, you can also simply exit your games manually after playing them. Then, you can close the GeForce Now stream to make sure it syncs properly with Steam.
