Friday night funkin’, an arcade style musical extravaganza that has captured and garnered a huge fan base for itself despite being what one can call a “simple” game. FNF is a testimony for the fact that video games needn’t have high definition graphics or an open world server to be successful. All a game needs is an active fan base and a lil’ bit of music!!!.
As of now, FNF is available on PC. The fans though, want it to come out for PlayStation4 and 5. Will that happen?
To know more, read on…
As an introduction to the newcomers, Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm game programmed by Ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack by Kawai Sprite and artwork by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r. It can be downloaded from the Itch.io website for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux devices or played on Newgrounds for free.
If FNF were available for PlayStation4 and 5, it would expand the fan base even further, representing the game and increasing its popularity across platforms.
Unfortunately, there is no such development planned. It may be in the process of being planned, we never know, but that sounds unlikely, as other games are racking up shelf space and gaining momentum after the release of PlayStation 5.
Fans have tried running the game on the PlayStation browser, but as it doesn’t support flash games , the screen just goes blank.
FNF will have to wait, for now, but if anything can be said for sure, it is that FNF is an amazing game with an even more amazing fan base and it will definitely flourish, regardless of the platform it is being played on.
Happy Gaming!!!
