There are two reasons why the error manifests in the game. The first is because of your poor internet connection that makes the game unable to send or receive data, the second is because of busy servers or the servers being under maintenance. Well, here’s how you can fix this error.
- To fix the unable to sync data issue, go to Windows Settings and select Apps on the left side of the window, and click on “Apps and Features”.
- In the app list, type “Forza Horizon 5”, click on three dots on the right side, and click on Advanced Options. Scroll down until you see the “Reset” section. Now, click on the Repair button just below it and let it complete. Once it’s done, close the window.
- Next, click on the network icon on your Taskbar and go to “Network and Internet Settings”. Click on Proxy, and toggle “Automatically detect settings”. Go back and click on “Advanced network settings” and disable the Wi-Fi adapter for a few seconds. Also, if you’re using an Ethernet connection, disable it for a few seconds and then enable it.
- Next, open Command Prompt with administrative rights and type the following commands one by one, “netsh winsock reset” > “netsh int ip reset”> “exit”. Once you put all the commands, go ahead and restart your PC, after that, run the game and the error should be fixed by now.
