Keep reading the article further to know more about how to perform the Volley Shot in FIFA 23.
Players can score a goal with a volley in the Ultimate Team Volley Challenges in FIFA 23 too, which is a new feature in the game. Volley is a shot that is difficult to execute, but at the same time looks extremely cool when executed correctly. Thus, we are here with a guide regarding how you can execute the Volley shot perfectly in this game.
FIFA 23: How to score a Volley
The very first prerequisite that this shot requires is you need to have the ball in the air while performing this shot. Secondly, the positioning of the ball in the air is also bounded by some constraints. The ball should not be too high while performing the shot, as it would result in a head instead. While it is good to score a goal with your head, it does not count as a Volley. The ball should also not fall in front of the player before the player hits it. That is, the ball should reach the player when it is about to hit the ground. In order to pass the ball perfectly, press X(Xbox)/Square(PlayStation) button on the controller according to the availability of players near you with the correct power and timing.
After knowing about the positioning of the ball, let us have a look at the controls. You need to press B when the ball is in the air if you are an Xbox player, or the Circle if you are playing the game on PlayStation. This shot requires accurate timing as well. Just a slight error in timing would result in losing your chance to become the hero of the match. So, just press the B/Circle button while the ball is in the air, and keep holding the button as it would decide the power of the shot. You need to have control over your power while shooting, or else the ball would not fall into the net. Try to keep the power on the lower side.
Release the button as soon as you feel like the power bar is at the correct power level, and it would result in a perfect Volley. Do not forget to use the left joystick in order to decide the direction of the ball. Talking about the new concept that is a part of FIFA 23, the Ultimate Team Volley Challenges require a proper Volley to be performed, which means that there is no acceptance of half Volleys. This means that there is no tolerance for a bounce between the volley shot and the cross.
