In between the two places, you can enjoy the open roads, the stunning vistas, and the mechanics the game has come to be known for. Euro Truck Simulator 2 has some of the best driving mechanics of modern truck simulators. It also has some of the most expansive maps. The newly confirmed DLC looks to expand on this and allows you to access more countries in-game. The DLC coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2, The West Balkans DLC will be out shortly and the developers claim that there are major changes coming. In addition to expanding on the already impressive selection of maps, countries, and trucks in the game, this DLC is going to bring more to the table. There is no official release date yet but the developers have already confirmed that it has been in development for a good while and may come out sooner rather than later. In addition to the expansions to the map and industries, the DLC is also introducing 8 countries to the game with various roads for you to explore.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 West Balkans DLC will feature 8 new countries.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is one of the most detailed and feature-rich truck simulators out there. It rivals American Truck Simulator in terms of mechanics and graphics but arguably has the larger and more varied maps. In this game, the main objective is to ferry goods or other items from one location to another. These locations are scattered throughout Europe and the surrounding regions. The game currently has a huge roster of countries and the devs are consistently adding more roads and maps to the game periodically. The recently announced West Balkans DLC is another such expansion DLC to the game.
Despite having no official release date, the DLC is said to add 8 countries to the game. Most of the Western Balkan region will be covered in this new DLC and you will be able to travel to the following countries;
- Serbia
- Albania
- North Macedonia
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Kosovo
- Slovenia
- Croatia
- Montenegro.
These countries were not previously present in the game. The reveal trailer for this DLC and the easter egg hunt from April were teasers of this event and we are quite excited about the release date of this DLC update.
