Call of Duty (COD) Warzone & Modern Warfare Mic not working issue: How to fix it

In a multiplayer game, the voice-chat feature always gives you and your team an upper edge as you can communicate way too effectively and efficiently. But, what if you encounter a mic not working issue while playing a multiplayer game? COD Warzone and COD Modern Warfare are both some of the biggest installments in the Call of Duty video game franchise and some players are facing the mic not working issue while playing these games. Fix: COD Warzone/ COD Modern Warfare Mic not Working

For fixing the “Mic not working” issue, you have to perform several checks:

1. The first thing that you must check is whether your Microphone is working properly or not. There is a possibility that you might be facing a hardware problem.
2. The next thing that you have to check is some in-game settings. Launch COD Warzone or COD Modern Warfare, select Options from the bottom menu and select Audio Settings thereafter. Make sure that Voice Chat is enabled here and the Voice Chat Device is set to Default System Device.
3. The next thing that you must check is the audio settings of the Battle.net application. To quickly open it, go to the hidden icons on the taskbar, right-click on the Blizzard Battle.net icon, and select Settings. Under the Voice Chat category, ensure that the input and output devices are rightly selected. You can also manually select the headset or microphone that you are using. Don’t forget to raise the input and output volume above 75. 
4. Now that you made sure that everything is normal with your Headset and Game Settings, we will be checking the Windows Sound Settings. Go to Windows Search Bar, search for Sound Settings and open it. Here, you must ensure that the input and output devices are rightly selected. Also, go to App Volume and Device Performances to check that the input audio volume is above 75 and the correct input device is selected for COD Warzone or COD Modern Warfare.
