Black Clover Chapter 257 titled “A Captain’s Duty” was published yesterday under Shueisha and Viz Media. The chapter has covered the intense duel between the devil host, Dante, and the magic knight captain, Yami. The chapter began with Finral’s dilemma of using his spatial magic against the devil host. The environment has changed suddenly when Dante used 80 percent of demonic power. This chapter has explained the power-sharing between the Underworld and the human world as elucidated by devil Lucifero, “Unless they open the door between the Underworld and the human world, they aren’t able to use 100 percent of their power.” Tabata Sensei has cleared the limit of the devil host power up to 80 percent.
During the battle, Dante realized that Yami is no joke, so he decided to use 80 percent demonic power and advanced his Gravity Magic to a whole other level. In order to defeat Yami, he used Gravity Magic: Gravity Singularity against him. Gravity singularity refers to the center of the black hole that contains infinite gravity and density and vanishes any celestial body which comes in contact with it. Not only he used gravity singularity, but he has also managed to bend Yami’s Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash with his magic. Only with the help of Ki, Yami dodged and landed his most powerful attack Dark Magic: Death Thrust on Dante due to which his upper body disappeared.
But will it enough to kill Dante? Judging by fans’ theory, Dante may use some forbidden technique of his Flesh magic to regenerate his body. Secondly, there may be the slightest possibility that Dante is also under Megicula’s immortality curse. Now, it’s up to Tabata sensei to plot a healing way for Dante. But we are pretty sure that it will impossible for the strongest member of the dark triad to defeat at this point in the chapter.
