Developed by DICE and ready to get published by Electronic Arts, Battlefield 2042 is the seventeenth installment in the Battlefield series. This game lies in the genre of first-person shooter games. For the first time in Battlefield history, this title will be featuring only multiplayer gameplay and crossplay features also.

The game sets you in a near-future world transformed by disorder, where you need to adapt and overcome dynamically-changing battlegrounds with the help of your squad and a cutting-edge arsenal. Best Settings for Battlefield 2042

The settings we are going to mention could vary from player to player. You can change the settings mentioned below depending upon your preferences.

General Settings

  1.  Under “Invert all Vertical Look”, set “Invert Vertical Look for Aircraft” to On. Keep other settings in this option as Off. Keep Other Settings to Default.

Display Settings

  1. Video Settings:
    1. Fullscreen Mode: Fullscreen
    2. Fullscreen resolution: According to your Monitor
    3. Refresh Rate: According to your Monitor
    4. Field of View/ Vehicle 3P Field of View: 100. Keep ADS field of View “Off”
    5. Graphic Settings:
      1. Brightness: 60
      2. High Dynamic Range: Off
      3. Motion Blur: 0
      4. Chromatic Aberration: Off
      5. Film Grain: Off
      6. Vignette: Off
      7. Lens Distortion: Off
    6. Graphic Preset: Set everything to medium for smooth gameplay.
  2. HUD General:
    1. Show HUD: On
    2. Camera Shake amount: 0
    3. Colorblind: Off
    4. Show Awards: On
    5. Show Vehicle Seat: On
    6. Show Critical Messages: On
    7. Kill Log: On
    8. Show Kills Made by: Squad
  3. Crosshair: It is always best if you set a crosshair for yourself as each player has some different preferences in it.
  4. Minimap:
    1. Minimap Background Opacity: 15
    2. Rotate with view: On
  5. HUD Icons: It is recommended to set the opacity of all the icons to 100.

Sound Settings

  1. Volume: The volume needs to be set on an individual level by everyone.
  2. Configuration:

    5. Advanced:
      1. Vertical Stick Aim Ratio: 18
      2. Vertical Stick Zoom Ratio: 38

      4. Coefficient: 44
      5. Zoom Transition Sensitivity: On
      6. 1.00 to 2.50 Zoom Aim Sensitivity: 47
  3. Global:
    1. Vibration: Off
  4. Controller Tuning:
    1. Haptic Feedback: Off
    2. Controller Left/Right Stick:
      1. Center Deadzone: 13
      2. Axial Deadzone: 17
      3. Max Input threshold: 100
      4. Set rest of the settings as Default.
