When Battlefield 2042 was announced back on June 9, 2021, there was an incredible amount of hype and hope for it. Battlefield V was a major disappointment, so a lot was riding on BF2042. DICE has been introducing new content into the game with each season, and the game is currently being enjoyed by players as Season 6 is live. Titled Dark Creations, Season 6 started on October 10, 2023, featuring a ton of new and exciting things. The Battle Pass features 100 tiers of unlockable rewards. The free part of the Battle Pass offers three new weapons and gadgets, along with several skins. At the same time, those who upgraded to Premium will receive six legendary skins, 1300 BFC, and a 20% Seasonal XP booster, among many other things.
Season 6 also serves as the debut of the new Redacted map, along with the VHX-D3 AR, L9CZ sidearm, and G428 DMR as the new weapons. However, Season 6 only introduces two new gadgets: the Ammo and Medical Pouches. There’s also the brand-new YUV-2 Pondhawk vehicle. Battlefield 2024 Season 7 Details & Release Date (Speculation)
Unfortunately, as of now, we don’t have any kind of information on Battlefield 2042’s Season 7. Even DICE has yet to confirm if we are indeed getting Season 7 or not. Currently, Season 6 is the longest season to date in BF2042 history. All previous seasons have lasted for either 12 or 14 weeks. Season 6, on the other hand, will be around for 16 weeks, ending on January 30, 2024.

With so many weeks left, no wonder there haven’t been any kind of leaks related to Season 7. For now, all we’ve got is a cryptic tweet from the game’s Creative Director and that too doesn’t really offer much.

Anyway, if we have to speculate, Season 7 of Battlefield 2042 is expected to be released in the first week of February 2024. Just like Season 6, we believe that Season 7 will also be a long-running one and might even surpass Season 6’s runtime. However, the content and features that will come bundled with it are currently unknown.
