Atomic Heart Frozen Enemies not dropping Loot issue: Is there any fix yet

Atomic Heart is a beautiful game. But, it is not free of bugs. Quite a few players have reported that the frozen enemies in the game are not dropping any loot, even when they have the Careful Disassembly perk unlocked in the Frostbite tree. This is a concerning issue because loot is very important in a survival RPG game like Atomic Heart. It helps you to unlock new items and also purchase useful things from the store. So, it really is a shock that players are unable to obtain loot from the enemies. Now, if you are also wondering if there is a fix for this issue yet, then you have come to the right place.

Atomic Heart has been under development for a long time now. The game finally rolled out on 21st February 2023. Fans are pleasantly surprised that the devs were able to deliver almost everything they promised. The game has beautiful graphics and an engaging combat system. You receive loot after defeating enemies and completing missions. One of the gameplay mechanics allows you to freeze the enemy and then execute them. Unfortunately, it looks like players are unable to get any loot after defeating these frozen enemies. So, how do you fix this issue? Well, let’s find that out.

Atomic Heart Frozen Enemies not dropping Loot issue: Is there any fix yet?

Unfortunately, there is no official fix for the Frozen Enemies not dropping Loot issue in Atomic Heart, as of now yet. Since the game rolled out very recently (at the time of writing this article), the devs are still checking and collecting more data. This means that players will need to struggle with this, and other issues, for some time. Since the game also has other potentially game-breaking bugs, the devs will most likely prioritize them over this one.

Now, there is no strict variation of this issue. Most people like to save ammo and use their axe or other melee methods to deal with frozen enemies. But, folks who used guns to finish them off were also not able to collect any loot from the bodies. Now, this is a little concerning because the Freeze mechanic is vital in the game. Players will use this feature a lot. So, it is a problem if you cannot obtain any loot after executing these enemies in the frozen state. We hope that the devs take notice of this issue and release a patch to fix it soon. We will make sure to update our article as soon as more information is available. So, stay tuned to Digi Statement.
