The Elite Swordsman Captain has been a nuisance to lots of players, and we will help you deal with that enemy.
On your entire playthrough of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you will come across a plethora of enemies. Some are quite easy to take down, while others are not so much. The Elite Swordsman Captain falls into the latter category. But like every other video game enemy, this one too can be defeated, provided you have enough knowledge of how to deal with it. So, here’s everything you need to know about defeating the Elite Swordsman Captain in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Mirage.
Assassin’s Creed (AC) Mirage Elite Swordsman Captain: How to beat
As the word Elite suggests, these are special type enemies and aren’t to be taken lightly. Whenever you encounter one, know that the Elite Swordsman Captain has the capability to easily resist both your regular and charged frontal attacks. While this is a big problem, it doesn’t make this enemy invincible. Like other enemies, it has its own weaknesses that can be exploited and used to put it down.
The best thing that will help you deal with this particular enemy is dodging. Look out for the Captain’s red attack, and as soon as you see that, do your best to dodge the attack. However, you need to dodge twice in quick succession so that you can get behind the captain and inflict some damage. The captain will frequently alternate between that red attack and a normal attack that can be parried. So, your ideal strategy to defeat this boss should be dodging those red attacks and parrying the normal ones. Being an elite enemy, it can take some time to get accustomed to those attacks. But eventually, you will get the hang of it and defeat the Elite Swordsman Captain.
Note: You can invest skill points into the Phantom Skill Tree to unlock the Counter Roll skill. This skill will allow you to effectively dodge an unblockable attack and get behind the enemy LOS in an instant if done right.
So, were you able to win against this fearsome enemy? There are a lot of challenges ahead in AC Mirage, so be prepared. One of the many things that will be advantageous to you in completing the game is learning how to eavesdrop. This guide will help you with that.
