Apex Legends

A lot of people in Apex Legends have been facing the error of continuous Loading and Compiling Shaders issue. This has been recurring especially since the release of Season 10. Read this article where you will find out the triggering source and the fix for this error.

Keep Updated Driver

You can fix this Loading & Compiling Shaders issue from your GPU. The Graphic Card you got needs to have the latest driver software versions. Often the manufacturer, like Nvidia and AMD roll out updates to help the GPU face and fix some major in-game problems. These driver softwares are often game specific and need updates/installation for better gaming performance. Therefore, you need to download the latest driver software, go to the website of your GPU manufacturer (like AMD or Nvidia). Therefore, from here, you will be able to install the latest software version.

Along with this, you can also look out for Display Driver Uninstaller. This software helps in cleaning the system by completely removing the remaining parts of the old driver software.

Fix: Continued

Download the latest graphics driver, and install it. If you are using Nvidia GPU, open the Nvidia Control Panel, after downloading the latest driver. Right-click from your desktop to access the Nvidia Control Panel settings. From here, you need to access Manage 3D Settings and select Global Settings. Under the sub-category of Global Settings, you will come across the Shader Cache. Therefore, you need to switch it off and click on Apply and close the Control Panel.

Then, you need to open your Nvidia Control Panel again and go back to accessing the Shader Cache settings, via the Global Settings, under Manage 3D Settings. This time, you will switch on Shader Cache, apply the settings and close the Control Panel. Restart your PC.

Apex Legends: Issue Fix

Now, after you restart your computer, start Apex Legends. From here, you will see the Loading & Compiling Shaders Issue coming back again. Close the game again and restart Apex Legends. You will now notice that the game will directly take you to the Loading Menu (by asking you to click to continue).

This is how you can fix the Loading & Shaders issue that occurs every time you open Apex Legends. For more PC based guides and updates, click here.
