Apex Legends: How to auto sprint & run faster

While playing a match in Apex Legends, staying still will get you killed in no time and players should always be on the move to react against the enemy’s attack or take cover behind obstacles. Apex Legends is one of the fast-paced battle royales that has a cartoonish and colorful art style that blends well with the intense battle royale atmosphere. The game always prepares its players to be ready for unknown attacks and make effective use of tactics and abilities. If you don’t know, you can even enable auto-sprint in the game that’ll save you the trouble of pressing the Run button at all times while giving you the freedom to act according to the situation. Continue reading the article to know more about the game and how to auto sprint and run faster in Apex Legends.

Apex Legends: How to auto sprint & run faster

Why you should keep moving in Apex Legends.

Remaining still on the map is the last thing you should be doing as it can lead you to lose the match and mess up the coordination of your squad members. As the game features huge maps, you might find enemies lurking or waiting to ambush you. Moving continuously can give you some breathing room on how to deal with them. Enabling auto sprint will make it easy for you to be able to move freely with much faster speed and you can better assess the situation when fighting against enemies.

How to enable auto-sprint in Apex Legends.

Thankfully, the game has the option to enable auto-sprint and doesn’t require any hacks for players to use. Be warned that using third-party software will instantly get you banned. Anyways, to enable auto sprint and run faster in Apex Legends, press “Up” on the left thumbstick of your controller or W key on your keyboard and you’ll automatically start sprinting without holding the “Shift” key. You can toggle auto-run in the game by double-tapping the move key and you’ll start running without having to press any button.

If you’d like to enable both of these settings, press the Options button and head to in-game “Settings”. Under the Gameplay tab, scroll down until you see the “Auto Sprint” option and turn it ON. With this option enabled, you will always run when moving, however, note that sprinting will delay your shots and reduce the control of movement. Well, this is how you can enable the auto-sprint option in Apex Legends.
