The combination of Shrubs from Leif’s new flower shop and the distinctive Hedge Fence adds a lot to the overall attraction of the garden area.
Hedge Fence and Nature’s Day
Yeah, April 23rd is the Nature’s day and the hedge fence is an exclusive part of it. The event will run through till May 4th so you will have plenty of time to unlock it with the event. Again Tom Nook will your point of contact as you have to travel to the Resident Services and speak to him. He will inform you of the upcoming challenges you will be facing to gain special rewards.
Unlocking the Hedge Fence
When you open your NookMiles app on your NookPhone to see the challenges for Nature’s Day, you will find activities relating to it. Like planting saplings, watering flowers, and planting those new items from Leif’s shop and more.
You should have the challenges up by now on the App. If you don’t see them then try clearing the previous challenges.
Getting the recipe for your hedge fence is an easy task. Just complete your first nature’s day challenge and as a reward, Tom Nook will provide you the recipe to craft hedge fences. Just go back to Resident Services as soon as you complete the first task. As simple as that and a DIY hedge fence recipe will be with you.
Crafting the Hedge Fence
Every DIY recipe in New Horizons takes specific items to build it the details of which are provided in the recipe. The following crafting materials are required for hedge fences:
- 10 Clump of Weeds
- 5 Tree Branch
- 2 Stone
You will get about 10 pieces to place down in your garden area each time you craft the fence.
Seasonal Changes on Hedge Fence
It is a cool feature that is a very good attraction. The hedge fence will change according to the season present. While we might not have a direct hand at changing the appearance, switching time in Nintendo Switch will change its appearance.
This was posted on Animal Crossing World twitter, showcasing the change of hedge fence with the season on the southern hemisphere.
