AI Limit Ghosting Issue How to fix it (2)

AI Limit will drive you nuts with all the boss fights and the detailed mechanics that come with them. During such a fight, nothing ruins the experience faster than annoying visual glitches like ghosting. You’re not alone if you’ve noticed blurry afterimages trailing behind characters or objects. This ghosting effect can make you feel sluggish and strain your eyes, especially during high-speed battles. Anyway, read till the end for some potential fixes.

Speaking about the issue, ghosting in AI Limit appears as a blurry trail or afterimage effect when moving the camera around the main character, making the motion feel sluggish and less responsive. It can be particularly noticeable during fast-paced combat, affecting visibility and overall gameplay smoothness. Thankfully, there are several ways to fix or reduce ghosting in AI Limit, and in this guide, we’ll walk you through the best solutions to get your game looking crisp and smooth.

AI Limit Ghosting Issue: How to fix it

AI Limit Ghosting Issue How to fix it

There’s no official fix for the ghosting issue in AI Limit yet, but since many players are experiencing it, several suggested solutions have emerged. While results may vary, these fixes are definitely worth trying if you want to reduce or eliminate the ghosting effect.

Anti Aliasing

The DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) method might be the culprit. Some players have noticed that DLAA introduces a strange blur or trailing effect. To work around this, try switching to a different anti-aliasing method in the graphics settings. Options like TAA, FSR, or FXAA may solve the issue. Experiment with different settings to see which works best for your setup. For most players, switching to SMAA provides a much clearer image without the trailing effect.

Update DLSS

Another potential fix for ghosting in AI Limit is updating your DLSS file. Some players have reported that replacing the default DLSS file with the latest version significantly reduces or even eliminates ghosting. To do this, download the newest nvngx_dlss.dll file from TechPowerUp, then navigate to AI Limit’s installation folder and replace the existing DLSS file. After restarting the game, you should see an improvement in image clarity and motion smoothness.

DLSS Swapper

One potential fix is to upgrade the game’s DLSS version using DLSS Swapper. Many players have reported that updating to DLSS 3.10.2.1 provides a much more stable and clearer image compared to older versions. If you’re using DLAA or DLSS and noticing visual artifacts, swapping to a newer DLSS version might help improve overall image quality.

DLSS Tweaks

If you want more control over DLAA in AI Limit, you can force DLAA on using the DLSS Tweaks tool. By default, the game applies a quality DLSS preset when you select DLAA, but with DLSS Tweaks, you can adjust the scaling and fine-tune the settings to your preference. This allows you to tweak DLSS Quality settings or even force DLAA entirely. For the best results, using the Transformer model with Preset K is recommended.

Last Resort

Finally, check for game updates, as the developers may have released a patch to address visual glitches. If no updates are available or the problem persists, try reinstalling the game. A fresh installation can help resolve potential file corruption or configuration issues that might be contributing to the ghosting effect.

Those are all the workarounds we have for now to deal with the ghosting issues in AI Limit. We hope that the devs will fix it once and for all with an update or a patch.
