We understand that Atomfall is a decently popular game and that it has reached players across the world. But what are the chances that every player will be accustomed to the default language of the game? Quite low, actually. Well, if you are one such player who is looking to change the language settings in Atomfall, consider reading this guide to know everything regarding the same.
Unlike most games, there isn’t an option in Atomfall itself that lets you change the language settings. If you are playing the game on a PC (Steam), then you are in luck, as the game client you’re using will help you to change the in-game language. However, for console players, there are a few intricacies involved. More details on the same below.

PC (Steam/Epic Games)
Changing the language of Atomfall via Steam is easy. Simply go to your Steam library and then right-click on Atomfall. After this, select Properties. Here, in the General tab, you will see a language setting. You can change it to whatever language the game supports. Same goes for the Epic Games Launcher. You can find the language setting in the game’s properties menu.
PC (Game Pass)
Method #1
Well, there are two ways to go about changing language in Atomfall if you are using Game Pass. The first way is to just change the language setting of your system. For this, go to Windows Settings, select the Time & Language tab, and then select Language & Region. Here, add the language of your choice (considering that the game supports it) and then select it as the default language. After the change, launch the game, and the in-game language will be changed.
Method #2
The next way is to delete the language files that you don’t want the game to be on. For this, head over to this directory: “C:\XboxGames\Atomfall\Content\Text\pc” or where the game is installed on your PC. Now, in the various folders, delete all the files of languages that you don’t want but keep the language file that you prefer. If you want English, then make sure not to delete any file with “_en” in its name. The same goes for French=fr, Russian=ru”. Here are the codes for all languages:
- asr_ct
- asr_en
- asr_fr
- asr_cs
- asr_it
- asr_jp
- asr_ko
- asr_pb
- asr_pl
- asr_ru
- asr_sp
After deleting all the language files you don’t need, you can just launch the game and the changes will take effect.
Consoles
On consoles, there is just one way to change the in-game language of Atomfall. Well, that is by changing the default system language in use. Once done, you can just launch the game and the selected language will be applied.
