It has been almost 5 years since the release of Don Bradman 17 and some are wondering whether the developers of the Don Bradman Cricket titles, Big Ant Studios, will ever release a new title, is it possible to see a Don Bradman Cricket 22 sometime soon?
Don Bradman Cricket was a cricket game that was named after the famous Australian cricketer, Don Bradman, the series first title, Don Bradman 2014, was first released in April 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, after which it received its second release, which was Don Bradman 17, on December 16, 2016. The second title of the release received very mixed reviews as compared to the first title, many considered Don Bradman Cricket 17 a watered-down and incomplete version of Don Bradman Cricket 14 and felt cheated out of money due to the horrible gameplay experience.
The possibility of seeing a Don Bradman Cricket 22 are quite slim not because of the past games having mixed reviews but due to there being no indication of such a game even existing, the developers have given no statements which indicate or hint towards the release of a new Don Bradman Cricket game any time soon.
From the looks of it, the developers have actually moved on from the Don Bradman Cricket series, by continuing their other cricket titles, which are the Ashes Cricket series games, for which a game was released on May 28, 2019, Cricket 19, and is available on all major platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, PC and even Nintendo Switch.
Hence, we can say with some level of certainty for those who were looking forward to seeing a Don Bradman Cricket 22, this year or next, it might not be coming as according to the developer team they are hard at work on other titles such as “The Hundred” a mobile game which hasn’t been given a release date as of now.
However, we would definitely suggest looking into playing the other Cricket titles, such as Cricket 19, which was released recently by the same developers and seems to have great reviews from players.
