The new Kaiserreich update is out now and available to download on Steam. Recently, the K4R team released update 0.12 for the game. The update was reported to be a very smooth release. With minimum bugs encountered and less fixing required, the update 0.12 have the developers plenty of time to work on the next update.
Unfortunately with 0.12.1, certain bug fixes required complete mapping overhaul. That being said, this update is the smoothest one yet according to the developers. It offers plenty of new additions to the game. Following are the patch notes of 0.12.1 update :

- Sardinia may now use the decision to core Piedmont once it is at war with Piedmont’s owner, and not solely once they own the state again.
- Germany and Japan now start with their first armored car tech unlocked.
- The Nanjing Clique should now perform a little better during the League War.
- Fengtian and Qing can now purchase armored cars from Japan and Germany respectively.
- The Manchurian Model Cities focus now requires Concordia Association influence to be above 30%.
- Some Fengtian collaboration focuses will now provide intel to Japan (if La Resistance is owned)
- Patagonia has had some small balance changes to make the radical anarchist path more viable, as well as nerfing its overall industrial power projection by removing the extra building slot it got via the decisions that added factories.
