While the first Android 11 Beta is still in works, Chinese OEM Realme seems to be ahead of that. Realme has already begun its Beta Program for Realme UI 2 based on Android 11. Apart from that, Realme has been doing a commendable job when it comes to updating its devices. The brand has so far been delivering the updates on time as per the official roadmap. Ever since Realme UI came into being, users have to wait for the update. Realme UI brings Android 10 and all its awesome features along with a better UI. While many devices have already got the update, some still remain in the waitlist.

Realme C2 Android 10

One of these devices is the Realme C2. The Realme C2 is an amazing budget device that offers absolute bang for the buck. This affordable smartphone came around May 2019 and brought home some really decent features. It came out with Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 on top.

Realme C2 to get Android 10 in Q3 2020:

Realme C2 comes with a 6.1 inch IPS LCD screen. It houses the budget Mediatek Helio P22 chipset. The device further offers up to 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The device has a huge 4000 mAh battery but has no fingerprint scanner. Talking about the camera, it features a dual-camera setup at the back with a 13 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, it has got a 5 MP selfie shooter with a dewdrop notch. Considering the price it comes for, the device offers great specs to be true.

A few days back, Realme C2 started receiving the latest may Security patch. The update comes along with the firmware version RMX1941EX_11_A.25 and weighs around 92.5 MB in size. Since the device came out with Android 9 Pie out of the box, Android 10 will be the first major update for the device. As we have been seeing Realme’s consistency in delivering the Android 10 updates these days, it seems certain that the Realme C2 will also be getting the update on time. Well, according to the official Android 10 roadmap, the Realme C2 is set to receive the Realme UI update on Q3 2020. You can check out the official roadmap given below.

While Realme has not exactly confirmed the dates, the brand has once again assured its users the device will indeed be getting the update on Q3 2020. Many users have been asking Realme about the possible dates for the update to hit Realme C2. The OEM took to Twitter to confirm the users about the update. Here is what Realme has to say:

Hey, we will roll out realme UI based on Android 10 update in Q3 of this year. Stay tuned to our official community and social media handles for further information on the same.

Well, Realme is still not spilling any beans on the exact dates for the Realme C2 Android 10 update. However, users have now been assured once again that they will be getting the update for sure. Realme has at least not delayed many of the updates and is doing great so far. Realme C2 has been set to receive the update in Q3 2020 from the beginning itself. The official Roadmap clearly mentions this fact.

So, there’s nothing to be worried about if you own a Realme C2. Realme assures that you will be getting the update in Q3 2020. The update may start rolling out anywhen after June. We are not pretty sure about the exact dates. Only time will reveal this. So, keep waiting until then to find out more about the update.
