If you are someone interested in technology, smartphones, and Android, you would probably have comes across the word “Custom ROMs.” ROM stands for “Read on Memory”, but what a Custom Android ROM is, can be confusing. A custom Android ROM means a smartphone’s firmware based on the Android Platform. As Android is an open-source platform any developer can change and modify its code and re-release it for a number of devices.
Android smartphones come with pre-installed software called “Stock ROM” or “Stock firmware”. But most of the OEMs provide limited functions and features on their smartphones to offer optimal performance. However, you can flash a custom ROM on your Android phone and tweak its performance, unlock new features, customize it to a new level, and do a lot more things.
There are a number of custom ROMs out there in the market, the most popular ones are LineageOS, Paranoid, etc. Once such custom ROM is Havoc-OS. It is also a quite popular custom ROM among the Android modding community. Havoc OS provides a vanilla Android experience with some extra features. Well, a new version of Havoc-OS is released recently with a number of extra features and other bug fixes. You can check out the complete changelog of Havoc-OS v3.5 below.
