Now, the chances of a Zygarde Cell appearing on your route are random, so a lot depends on your luck. When a Zygarde Cell does spawn on a route, it will resemble a shiny and small green swirl of sparkles.
Another main reason why Zygarde Cells are so rare right now is due to the fact that the routes feature is still being rolled out and hence isn’t available to many. From what the players have been saying so far, it seems like there’s a 50-50 chance that a Zygarde Cell will spawn on their route. Moreover, it’s been found that routes have a cap of about 3 Zygarde Cells a day.
