However, there are a plethora of games that store your progress in saved files on your device. Further, the facility to access these saved files opens many options for you. Especially in games like Ready or Not. The game has an auto-save feature and the option to manually save as well. However, the location of these files is unknown to many. So, in this guide, we have shared where the saved files of Ready or Not are located on your system.

Ready or Not is a first-person tactical shooter game. It was developed and published by VOID Interactive. The game follows the operation of a SWAT team amidst a crime wave in a fictional city. It throws players into high-stakes hostage situations and also offers a wide range of modes of play. Amidst the adrenaline rush and tactical maneuvers, your in-game progress is stored automatically to ensure that you don’t have to play the same level again after you close the game. But if you are interested in accessing these saved files, here’s how you can do so.

Interestingly, these saved files do come in handy if you want to reset your progress or transfer it from one device to another. In addition to that, it is important to backup the saved files to avoid loss. As it turns out, many players are oblivious to the location of these files. So, where are they located?

Save File Location

Ready or Not can be played on Windows, Linux, and Mac PCs. So, the saved files of this game will be located in different directories depending on the OS. That said, follow these steps to access the files:

For Windows
  • First, open the File Explorer and go to this PC.
  • Then, open the C drive.
  • In there, open the Users folder and locate the “YourUsername” folder.
  • Now, open Appdata (if it’s not seen, then on top, click on View, then check the Hidden Files option and then Appdata will be visible).
  • In the Appdata folder, open the Local folder.
  • Now, locate Ready or Not and click on it.
  • After this, open the Saved folder and then open the Save Games folder. Here, you will find the game’s saved files.
For Mac
  • First, open the file explorer.
  • Then, go to the Library.
  • After this, search Application Support.
  • Now, locate the Unity folder and open it.
  • Then, locate Ready or Not and click on it.
  • Once done, locate the saved folder.
  • Now, open the SaveGame folder, where the save game files are located.
For Linux
  • First, open the Steam folder.
  • Now, head over to steamapps.
  • Here, open the compatdata folder, then the 1144200 folder, then pfx. Here, you will be able to find the game’s saved files.
