Assassin’s Creed (AC) Mirage Blurry Issue: Is there any fix yet
As mentioned earlier, the blurry issue in the game is expected to be due to the forced Chromatic Aberration. As of writing this article, there is no way to disable chromatic aberration through the in-game option. For more details on this matter, click here. However, there are some in-game settings you can tweak along with some workarounds, which can help with the blurry issue. Check them out!
Restart
Before making changes to the in-game settings, try restarting the game first. Shut it down, and if you want, shut down your PC as well. After that, relaunch the game and see if you can play with clear visuals.
Change Resolution Scale
By modifying the resolution scale, you can effectively change the game’s rendering resolution, potentially reducing the blurriness issue. To access the resolution scale setting, follow these steps:
- Launch Assassin’s Creed Mirage and navigate to the main menu.
- Select “Options” from the menu.
- In the Options menu, click on the “Screen” tab.
- Locate the “Display” section within the Screen tab.
- Look for the “Resolution Scale” option.
- Adjust the Resolution Scale slider to your preference. You can experiment with different values to find the setting that minimizes blurriness while maintaining satisfactory performance.
Upsample Type
In the Post Processing tab of the Graphics settings, which you can access by going to Option from the main menu of the game, you can change the Upsample type. Now, there are many options to choose from. You can try all of them to see which one works the best for you. But for a start, try AMD FSR2 (for AMD GPUs) and DLSS (for Nvidia GPUs) options.
Upsample Quality
This setting is just below the Upsample Type option in the Post-Processing section. Try out the “Native” option first, and then go for other settings like Quality and Balanced to see which one helps with the blurriness issue.
Sharpen Strength
Another option is located just below Upsample Quality. Well, this one is a slider. Now, here is the deal: if you find the game to be blurry after choosing an option for Upsample Quality and Type, try increasing the value of Sharpen Strength. Increasing the sharpen strength slider to around 60% or more might help you get rid of the blurriness.
