If you enjoy playing Lego games where you can design anything, then you’re in for a treat. Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, the latest game in the Lego series, Lego 2K Drive, was finally released on May 19. The game was released for all the major gaming platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. A key part of the excitement surrounding Lego games is based on building things on your own. The developers of Lego 2K Drive have addressed this creative endeavor of the players. Lego 2K Drive allows players to build and customize their own vehicles, allowing them to express their creative vision. If you’re looking to customize your cars in Lego 2K Drive, keep reading this article till the end.

Released just a few days ago, Lego 2K Drive is an open-world multiplayer racing game. Just like any other racing game, your success in Lego 2K Drive will be determined by the vehicle you’re operating. This is where it gets exciting, as the game poses no limit to your imagination while you’re building a car. You can build your car brick by brick, try to enhance the speed and stability of your vehicle, and even customize it. In the garage, you can build all kinds of vehicles, including water, street, and off-road ones.

You have more than 1000 bricks to choose from while you’re designing a car, and the best part of all these is that you can do literally whatever you want. You could, of course, make a simple car following the preset instructions, but that’s not where the game limits you. For players who can and love to explore different ideas regarding their vehicles, Lego 2K Drive is a blessing. What’s more? The steps are pretty simple if you were to customize a car in the game. Just follow the steps mentioned below, and you’ll find out how to do it.

The game allows players to build and customize their vehicles as they see fit. In order to first build a custom car, you need to navigate to your garage. You can either do this by clicking on the ‘Garage’ button on your main menu or by driving to the nearest garage in Story Mode or Shared World.

Once you visit the garage, you need to select the Body Shop option for both building and customizing a car. You will find four options here: – Build, Paint, Group, and Customize.

  • If you want to build a custom car, then you need to select the Build option in the garage. This is where you can start idealizing and developing the shape of your customized car.
  • If you want to customize the color of your car, then you need to go to the Paint option. You can find different color shades, including matte, metallic, chrome, and more, in this section.
  • The Group tab allows you to connect and bind several items together so you can move them.
  • Lastly, the Customize option will allow you to add stickers and animations to your vehicle. This is also where you can upgrade the stats of your vehicle, such as Top Speed, Acceleration, Weight, Handling, and more. You can either unlock these stats by playing the game or you can purchase them using brick bucks.

While Lego 2K Drive players did face certain issues like the “Unable to Write Save Data” error, this is still a game that stands out. The developers have done a remarkable job with how creative the fans can be in the game, and that is definitely commendable. To learn more about Lego 2K Drive, keep your eyes on DigiStatement.
